DEMO — built by Glass Umbrella for Moonglow

About

Rob & Holly.

Moonglow is an acoustic duo from Waynesboro, Virginia — Holly Frost, vocals; Rob Otis, guitar.

The short version

Their own page puts it simply: Rob on guitar, Holly on vocals, blues and classic-rock favorites. Listen a little longer and the songbook opens up — Jobim’s “Desafinado,” “Teach Me Tonight,” Gary Moore, Sam Cooke, Stevie Ray Vaughan — the kind of set that works a tasting room at two in the afternoon and a taproom at nine.

Holly carries the vocals — it’s the band’s own billing on every video that names the lineup. One listener under their reel said it best: “Sing it Holly Tune!! Great playing Rob.” (a comment on their YouTube reel — the kind of review you can’t commission)

Decades in, still tuning up

Rob has taught guitar in Waynesboro since 1995, by his own listing’s count — and his playing runs back further still, to a Vermont bar band in the late seventies, by his own archive. Jazz, blues, rock, country, classical: the teaching studio and the stage have always been the same instrument.
